While the idea of Second Life is kind of interesting I found that I wasn't that impressed with it. I felt like I was playing the Sims again and all I wanted to do was play with my avatars different clothes and make up. I found that I got wrapped up in all the different ways I could create my avatar more than the environment I was in. It reminded me of one big video game.
What I did find interesting however was the library and the fact that you could ask the librarian different questions. However, I don't like the idea that this takes away from a physical world where people actually interact on a face to face basis. While it was fun while it lasted I doubt I'll be returning to second life anytime soon.
